Najpierw piszemy maila z uprzejmš probš o założenie konta i wygenerowanie hasełka do admina. W mailu piszemy koniecznie jaki chcemy mieć login - czyli nazwę konta za pomocš której będziemy rozpoznawani. Adres mailowy admina to laknopflertk@hotmail.com
http://www.pobieralnia.pl/plik-1764-strongdc.html
Uruchamiamy program Strong DC.
description - opis Twojego komputera
Otwieramy teraz zakładkę Favorite Hubs i dodajemy nowy HUB ( NEW ):
Wypełniamy odpowiednio:
Name - nazwa naszego HUB'a np. Spanish City
Address - hub.spanishcity.net
P.S.
Poniżej zasady panujšce na HUB'ie:
GENERAL DECLARATION AND RULES
Mark Knopfler Hub, as its name shows, is a Mark Knopfler and Dire
Straits Hub that was born with the main idea to compile and share all
possible Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits stuff.
Many hours were dedicated to starting it up, and after many
failed attempts we found a solution, that may not be the best one.
But we think that it is the least bad one, and while we don't find anything
better, it will be what we are going to continue using.
I would like to say that ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING what it is done in the
Hub, and ABSOLUTELY ALL decisions taken by the Op´s are done with
the benefit of all users in mind. We do nothing without
thinking it over carefully. Even if it is impossible that
everyone agrees to everything, we have to understand, that there has
to be a minimal set of rules, so everything works well.
HUB RULES
1º SLOTS
The minimum number of open slots is:
- 56 kpps or lower: 3 slots
- CABLE, ADSL and better: 8 slots
There is no maximum to the allowed open slots.
2º SHARE
- Of course, this is a Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler Hub, so we assume
people who come to the Hub already love his music. Therefore, DO NOT share
official Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits stuff. If we contribute to piracy, we
damage Knopfler and his music. Official CDs as well as rips of his DVDs are
not allowed.
- You are allowed to share video files from digitized VHS,
since even if you have a VHS, you could want to have your video in VCD format.
- Concert Videos that were recorded with digital camera, digitized radio
broadcasts, and concerts on "bootlegs" are all ok too.
- Only Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits stuff is allowed. If
Knopfler or Dire Straits contributed to it, you can share it, otherwise you
can't. Of course you can share the full concert, show or CD, even
if Knopfler plays only in a part.
- The rules for sharing apply too if you visit other hubs.
If the other hub demands you to share stuff, that is not allowed here,
you have to use a different program to open it, such as Direct Connect Hub.
3º DOWNLOADS
- You should have a specific, separate folder, called e.g. "downloads"
with all your current downloaded files, and other with the finished downloads.
All files must be well organized, and with year/month/day format where known.
- All files downloaded must be shared WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATION OF THE CONTENT
(no modification of ID3 tags, remultiplexing, cutting away pieces etc.).
In case you really think a file needs modification (e.g. since it has a serious error),
please notify an OP. This rule is particularly relevant for videos,
which take long to download. Modifying a file will make other users
unable to download the file from several sources. Keeping the file unchanged
will make sure, that the user who shared the files first, won't be saturated.
- Don't change the names of files if it is unnecessary. Changing names
of files, to make them fit in your naming scheme is ok, as long as you
don't delete relevant information (like the date or location of a concert).
- Always search alternative downloads with the proper command. If you don't know
how to use it, ask an OP, or read the HOW-TO DCC++ manual in http://www.la-knopfler.tk
- All material you download must be shared in you shared directory
for a while. If you haven't got enough hard disk free space, tell it to
an OP.
4º BREACH OF RULES
- The fact that you enter the Hub implies that you have read, understood
and accepted these rules. Ignoring the rules does not excuse breaking them.
- On breaking the rules, you will get a warning from an OP.
If the breach persists, you will be banned temporarily. If
you still fail to comply, you will be banned from the HUB forever.
- Any OP is able to ban an user that after repeated warnings,
still does not follow the rules.
- All users can help that the rules are obeyed, and if somebody has a
suggestion, please tell it to us. Everybody is very important here.
- If you have any question about this, tell it to Fabi or Direfran.
- I hope the rules are understood as an initiative to improve the Hub
quality, because we assure you that this is the intention with which
they were written up.
